Grand Theft Auto IV Set to be Released on PC

PC gamers rejoice, Grand Theft Auto IV’s release date is on the horizon. Here’s the latest info from around the Interwebs…

Multiplayer

Apparently you and 32 friends can play GTA IV together. 32? Well in some modes at least. No word on an exhaustive list of which modes are capped at 16 and which are capped at 32. Check out IGN’s hands on experience.

DRM

GTA will be bundled with a less Draconian form of SecuROM. This should not come as big surprise considering the game has a multiplayer component. For those who forgot, SecuROM is responsible for damaging people’s computers, installing rootkits, etc. They claim their implementation is strictly for authorization purposes.
